Recent neuroscience research on a small number of volunteers has found breakfast skippers eat 20% more at lunch and seek higher calorie foods. I guess we could have told them that, but it is interesting when the obvious is backed up by science. Check out the short article on the link below.
What I have found as a Dietitian working with several thousand clients over the past 29 years is you don’t have to have breakfast but you probably do seem to need to eat something healthy like a toasted sandwich or fruit and yogurt within 3 hours of waking. This is a better option than cream biscuits and coffee that never really fill.
